Here is how we craft a few of Numi’s top organic blends:

Aged Earl GreyTM

We age organic Assam with real bergamot—an aromatic Italian orange—for several weeks to make this bright, balanced black tea. After the tea is scented, the orange is sifted out. Each sip brings a robust flavor with subtle citrus notes. Unlike most Earl Grey teas on the market, Numi’s Aged Earl GreyTM is not sprayed with flavorings. This is tea the way nature intended.

Jasmine Green

We scent fragrant, smooth green tea leaves three times with night-blooming jasmine to make this delicate tea. Real organic jasmine flowers gently cover the tea until their scent is fully absorbed. The next day, the flowers are sifted out and the process is repeated two more times. This traditional practice brings out the sweet aromas of blooming jasmine.

Orange Spice

Our delicate blend of spring-picked white tea, real orange peel, schizandra berries and lemongrass balances complex citrus notes with luxurious spice. The least processed and oxidized of all teas, white tea has a smooth, sweet, velvety taste reminiscent of fresh apricots. Most fruit teas are doused in oils or flavorings, masking the true flavor of the tea.

Chocolate Pu-erh

This velvety infusion combines black pu-erh tea and organic cocoa. Accented by sweet orange peel, this decadent blend is rounded off with nutmeg and cinnamon for a spicy finish. Pu-erh is an ancient healing tea known for its medicinal properties and rich taste. The tea undergoes a 60-day fermentation process resulting in a bold, earthy flavor.

Truly Natural

Many tea brands use artificial or “natural” flavorings and fragrances to mask poor quality ingredients, creating intense, unnatural flavors that lack nutritional value. Numi uses only pure ingredients, straight from nature. Real fruits, flowers and spices impart nuanced, complex flavors that can’t be re-created in a lab.
